Every hand is given one cell of a growing colony of hexagons, on the colony's edge, coloured so that no two neighbours match. Neighbouring cells share their corners: a hand pushes one corner of its cell at a time, or splits an edge so it can bend, and its neighbours change shape with it. A cell's area stays within twice any other's. Two cells of one colour may never touch: a push that would make them touch is forbidden and costs a turn. Together the hands are twisting the colony into a spiral round its first cell.
